The Ten Forty Times has been a part of our Post for decades. Since the first issue in 1956, this publication has provided valuable information to our membership regarding everything from events at the post meeting information and public service announcements. This publication was paid for through advertisers and well into the 2000’s the 1040 times has been a part of the American Legion post 1040.

Getting all the issues scanned and ready for the website has taken quite a bit of time and we anticipate having the rest of the issues (through the late 1980's) added over the winter.  We are also looking for members of the Post that may have issues that are not included in this historical archive. If you have issues that you would like to donate, please e-mail commander@LegionPost1040.com. Once the documents are scanned in the originals can be returned.
